Painajaiset 4.- 25.10.2012 Galleria Kingi Kongissa

Kallion Galleria Kingi Kongissa on nyt "Painajaiset"- niminen näyttely tekemistäni levynkansista ja keikkajulisteista. Siellä on noita Pentagrammeja, Diamanda Galásia, Merzbowia ym, jotka saattavat olla tuttuja tämän blogin seuraajille. Näyttely kestää torstaihin 25. lokakuuta asti.

Painajaiset- näyttely on toteutettu yhteistyössä Svart Recordsin ja tuotantotoimisto Blow Up That Gramophonen kanssa.

Galleria Kingi Kongin aukioloajat ovat keskiiviikosta sunnuntaihin klo 12-18. Osoite on Vaasankatu 15, Helsinki.

One of my truly awesome friends, Aiju, is running a nice little gallery in the black heart of Kallio with a bunch of friends of hers. It's called Kingi Kongi and my exhibition called "Painajaiset" is open there NOW. It lasts until Oct. 25th. Don't miss it.

 "Painajaiset" means "nightmares" in Finnish. Well, most pieces of the exhibition are either record sleeves or gig posters for more or less famous artists, like Pentagram, Merzbow and Diamanda Galás. Pieces, which I guess are familiar to the readers of this blog. There are a couple of surprises, though.

Here are two posters I made this summer for Blow Up That Gramophone, the same people who brought both Pentagram and Diamanda Galàs to Helsinki last year together with Svart records. This time I painted the posters for japanese noise legend Merzbow (with support Death Trip) and the Swedish "crust with black influences"/d-beat outfit Martyrdöd.
